Twenty-six years in Charlotte County
Allied Technologies started in Port Charlotte in 1999 and has been here ever since. We are family owned. We are not a branch of a company headquartered somewhere else, and we are not a franchise.
What we are now
Two businesses under one roof. We install the physical infrastructure — cabling, wireless, cameras, door access, phones — as a Florida Certified Electrical Contractor. And we run the technology afterward: managed IT, security, cloud, backup and support.
Around nine in ten of the companies we work with are commercial, across Charlotte, DeSoto, Sarasota and Lee counties. We still help homeowners too.
Two hurricanes
We were here for Charley in 2004 and Ian in 2022, and we spent weeks after both getting local businesses back on their feet. That shapes how we think about backups, redundancy and second internet circuits. It is not theoretical here.
