The part most people do not know
Microsoft does not back up your Microsoft 365 data the way most people assume. Neither does Google. Retention policies are not backups, and a deleted mailbox or an encrypted OneDrive is gone once the retention window closes. That is a separate product and we sell it because we have needed it.
